Each country was evaluated against a set of 25 indices that included: air pollution, quality of air, climate change rate, biological diversity, water resources and other environmental indications.
Switzerland emerged as the top ecological country of the world. Norway and Sweden followed. The rest of the environmental top seven are: Finland, Costa-Rica, Austria and New Zealand.
